The Institute of Petroleum Engineering is one of a few in the German speaking countries.
The institute is the only one in Germany which offers a course of studies Petroleum Engineering with the specialisation in

Due to the fact that the petroleum industry is keen to employ graduates with a BSc/MSc degree in petroleum engineering it supports substantially the institute and the education provided.
