Students

The SPE student chapter TU Clausthal is one of the 82 Student chapters in 30 different countries around the globe. The main activity of the chapter is to organize company presentations and excursions during the semester. These presentations are also attended by students of geosciences.  In addition to this, the chapter works in very close colaboration with the GSSPE (German Section-SPE), whose goal is the patronation of university training, scientific research, technical advance, cooperation of economy and science as well as engineering on the area of petroleum and natural gas-sciences. It organizes the transfer of students to the official meetings, technical presentation and discussions of the German Section. This gives us the opportunity to take a close look at the petroleum industry and its projects.
